SANTA ANA, Calif. (October 15, 2026) - Took a trip to Centennial Park in Santa Ana where I had previously photographed Mandarin Ducks. I was greeted by a deranged schizophrenic guy screaming expletives and walking toward me. Luckily, he stopped about 20 yards away, said his peace and then turned around and left. What the hell… Anyway, shortly thereafter I found three male Mandarin Ducks swimming around. The light was beautiful on this morning.
