 CORONA DEL MAR, Calif. (August 24, 2024) - Shot some Medium format images with the Hasselblad XCD 28mm at Little Corona. The lens performed well at an equivalent of 22mm.

Skimmers & Friends - Day 195

 IRVINE, Calif. - Got out to shoot some Skimmers in the Irvine Marsh. Patience was needed, but finally got a couple of passes. 

San Pedro - Day 189

 SAN PEDRO, Calif. - Hoped to photograph the Peregrine Falcons, but found out they had fledged the week before. Also, no Red Foxes in sight. Even then, there are always images to make here. Lots of suicide hotline signs around the cliff, I guess it’s real 😔

 July 4th, 2024 - Being so close to the Los Alamitos Airbase has its advantages. On the 4th, we got an airshow from our front yard. 

Medium Format - CC - Day 182

 CRYSTAL COVE, Calif. - Got out with the Hasselblad 500CM for the first time in a while. It reminds me how film like the flow is with this camera. Took me a few frames to remember to wind the shutter, lol. It was a gloomy morning, but seemed to add some atmosphere. 

Black-crowned Night Heron - Day 181

 HUNTINGTON HARBOR, Calif. - Stumbled on a few Black-crowned Night Herons building a nest in the harbor. I’ve never seen them in this area, so it was very cool. Caught this guy posing for me on a root.

Sunset - Day 174

 CORONA DEL MAR, Calif. (June 22, 2024) - Finally made it down for sunset, however, it was crazy. There was a graduation party happening on the beach with a DJ and about 5 other portrait photographers with their families. Had to climb up higher and shoot over the people to get a decent shot. Nothing great, but always great to be out capturing images.
