ANAHEIM, Calif. (January 22, 2026) - Attended NAMM this year and walked up on this band performing. They are S8nt Elektric billed as a pop metal band. Some cool stage antics with some pro wrestling and other gestures. Enjoyed the set. Here’s some photos from their set.
January, 2026 - We finally hit a couple consecutive days with a decent sunrise and color! Here’s a few snaps from Little Corona and Seal Beach.
January, 2026 - These film images were captured with the Leica M7 on Kodak Gold 200. I usually load a roll of film and bring the camera with me as a daily carry. Most were shot with the Voigtlander 35mm f/2.5 and the Voigtlander 21mm f/3.5.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (January 5, 2025) - These images were captured around mid-day as the clouds developed. I ran down to the marina and shot these with the Monochrom and an Orange filter. Filters with black and white images always add a nice dramatic tone.

LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. (January, 2026) - Started off the New Year in one of my favorite locations, Laguna Beach. Nothing too special, but it’s always a great experience on the beach.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. ( December 29, 2025) - Over the past few years, I’ve really noticed an up tick in foot traffic in the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. A lot of it is probably due to the increase in population. The other factor could be due to social media? I know events like the Great Horned Owls brought huge crowds. In any case, I believe the increased foot traffic has negatively affected the Coyotes that are still around. I haven’t seen too many this year. It was great to see this girl. I sat down and didn’t move around and she hung out for a good 15 minutes.
LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. (December 12, 2025) - The sunset on the day was mediocre, but the star of the evening was Danny’s Lapu Lapu at the Royal Hawaiian. A true work of art.
