Flash Portraits

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (April, 2019) - Shot these portraits with two Godox lithium ion flashes and Magmod modifiers. The batteries are insane. Shot approximately 750 images over three hours and the batteries were still full! Highly recommend these flashes.

BOLSA CHICA ECOLOGICAL RESERVE, (March, 2019) - The end of March brought fantastic Spring weather to the wetlands. Bryan (@bryanlc) and I drug out the long glass to experience the wildlife. Here are some images from the morning hike.

NAMM 2019

ANAHEIM, Calif. (January, 2019) - Attended all four days of the NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center in January. Packed as always, but with a heightened security presence for sure. The expansion areas like the Marriott Hotel were considered external and you had to go through metal detectors and bag checks each time. One of those things that is a little bit of a hassle, but overall well worth the peace of mind. Definitely some cool new gear, performances and presentations. I still have some cards that I haven't downloaded, but here are some general photos from the event. More to come...

Pre-Spring Blooms

February, 2019 - January and the New Year flew past me, so I'm catching up with some events. Had a chance this month to get out to the Wetlands after all the rain we've had. All I can say is that Spring is going to be beautiful this year. Here are some images of what I call pre-Spring.
