Scottsdale Summer

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona (August, 2022) - Spent a few days in Scottsdale and experienced heat, rain, thunder, lightning and flash floods. Very unexpected since we haven’t had any rain in Southern Cal. Brought the Leica SL2 with only one lens. Because of the weather, I wasn’t able to get out too much. Here’s a few images from the surrounding area.

Presley’s 9th Birthday Party

 HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (August, 2022) - Shot some images with the Leica M at Presley’s 9th Birthday Party. It was awesome to see some old friends I haven’t seen in a while. It was my first time meeting Hank, Jen and Josh’s 4 month old boy. Good times.

  

2022 Van’s US Open of Surfing

 HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calf. (August, 2022) - It’s been a couple years since we’ve had a US Open to attend. Caught some beautiful weather with a little swell. Hawaii pretty much dominated. Here’s some action through the Quarter and Semi-finals.

Leica Shooting

 July, 2022 - I keep a Leica camera sitting out at all times. Everyday when I see it, I’m motivated to pick it up and practice with it. It’s funny how my other cameras don’t make me feel that way? I also have it set for monochrome mode, so when you put it up to your eye, the world appears in monochrome. Anyway, its become my most used camera and I love the quality of the images it cranks out. I shoot both monochrome and DNG (which contains the color information). Here’s some Leica images from this month.
