Mt. SAC 2015 (Part 1)

WALNUT, Calif. (April 17, 2015) - I must apologize for my lack of timeliness with this post. I have been very busy and I'm just getting caught up from this April event. The following are images from the 57th running of the Mt. SAC Relays. We had some great weather this year (not too hot). As usual, Allyson Felix, Carol Rodriguez and Jenna Prandini were out tuning up for the USATF Outdoor Championships. Here are some images from the meet.

A little slice of paradise

PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico (May 9, 2015) - Every morning is uniquely beautiful in Mexico. A little cool and breezy on this day, but the view is addicting. For the entire week, I made sure I was up every morning to witness the beautiful sunrise. Shot was the Zeiss 21mm at f/11 for 30 seconds.

Blind Innocence

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif (April 15, 2015) - Blind Innocence is a local band consisting of Angie on vocals, Kevin on guitar/drums and Greg on keyboards/bass. Angie is a 16 year old singer/songwriter and performing arts student. The band plays a Country/Rock format which consists of many original songs and some covers. I've had the pleasure of mixing their live sound and recording their live shows. These are some images from one of the shows last month. Oh yeah, forgot to mention that Greg is blind.

Happy New Year - 2015!

It's hard to believe it's 2015. Last year was a blur, especially down the stretch. In 2014 life kind of got in the way of my photography, but I am dedicating myself to shooting more this year. Anyway, I wanted to share one of my favorite images from this past holiday season. Kids are so active and hard to shoot, however, every now and again the stars align and you get candid gold. This was one of those moments...

Mustang Sally

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (November 29, 2014) - Had the opportunity to visit the Cal Poly campus for the first time. It was a beautiful day, about 70 degrees, sunny, total shorts weather. The campus itself was very impressive and well kept. Did I mention it was close to the beach? All captured with the Olympus Zuiko 21mm. I love the color, sharpness and size of this lens!

Beverly Hills 90210

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (November 13, 2014) - Covered the premier of Kylie Jenner's new hair extension line "Kylie Hair Kouture" by Bellami Hair at the James Kendall Salon in Beverly Hills. In attendance were Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian. There was a very nice turnout for the debut of Kylie's new hair extension line. Here are some images from the event.

All Roads Lead Home

(October, 2014) - Jessica's soccer team is wrapping up their season with a three game home stand. It's nice after traveling all season. Coming off a 5-1 loss against Cerritos, the girls showed up ready to rumble against Long Beach. The game started out pretty evenly matched, but then we kicked into a higher gear. The final result was a 6-0 win! Here are some selections from the game.
