January, 2022 - Wildlife

January, 2022 - Happy New Year! It’s been a cold start to the new year. Actually, I’ll clarify that it’s been cold for California, most mornings are averaging 40-50’s. I know for a lot of the country, that’s not cold, but for us soft Southern Californians it’s cold. Anyway, here are some captures from the month. Thanks for looking.

First Toro Basketball - 2021

CARSON, Calif. (November, 2021) - For the first time in almost two years, I sat on the floor of the Torodome for a Women’s basketball match up between the Toros and Point Loma Nazarene University. It was actually a great game with the Toros losing 76-69. Looking forward to more action this season.

Sedona, AZ

SEDONA, AZ (October, 2021) - Had the opportunity to visit some friends who have moved to the Arizona area. While there was able to visit Sedona for the first time.. It is definitely a high traffic tourist destination. Also, because I flew, I was not able to bring a lot of gear. As it turns out, you are much closer than I thought and I was a little over-lenses at 50mm. The first trip was in the morning, and I noticed that many of the shots would be better isn’t he afternoon, so we made a second trip out there. Anyway, here are some samples from Sedona.

Osprey Hunting

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (October, 2021) - Captured a young Osprey trying to develop his fishing skills. He was circling the water for about 15 minutes and I captured him hitting the water a couple times.  Unfortunately he didn’t catch anything, but it was awesome to witness.
